Driver Education - Classroom - Four Options

A. Four Day Class - Cost $80.00

1. Two weekends (Saturday, Sunday, Saturday, Sunday) are offered during the school year.
2. Four Days - offered during the summer and vacations
3. Correspondance - packets, worksheets, handouts, sample quizzes and final test
4. Combination - classroom and written work.
5. Classroom Contents:
   a.) Videos / CDs
   b.) Lecture / Discussions
   c.) Sample Test to prepare for Permit Test
   d.) Guest Speakers:
1. CHP / Police
2. Accident Victims
3. Student Drivers
4. Members of Community

Driver Training - Behind the Wheel 

• We offer 1- or 2-hour drives.
• You need to log 6 hours over 6 months to complete DMV requirements
• Cost is $50.00 per hour, payable at start of drive
• Pay each time you drive, spread over 6 months (not such a big bite out of your pocket).
• We offer:
• City Driving
• Backroad Driving
• Freeway Driving
• Backing & Parking
• We spend the majority of time driving in town traffic (in the city of Placerville) to help prepare you for the DMV driver's exam.
• Total cost for 6 hours = $300.00 - pay as you go.
